Two characteristics define this distinguished golf course. This is the first one that was constructed inside a country club of Cordoba, Las Delicias. There you will the most majestic houses of the country, surrounded by magnificent gardens. Located on the way to La Calero, at 20 minutes from the center of Cordoba city, this course presents natural drops and complicated greens, carpeted with tifway. It is par 71, with a modern design similar to the American courses, with bunkers, cross-bunkers, two pools and several out-bounds.
Although it has no more than 10 years, it is very prestigious.

At the foot of Sierras Chicas, the Córdoba Golf Club of Villa Allende offers excellent conditions for the practice of this sport and an ideal atmosphere for meeting with friends. A course designed more than 80 years ago, in the hands of a group of entrepreneurs decided to create a golf space near the big city. Today, at just 12 miles from the city center, it is a traditional course, English-style, considered as one of the best courses of the country.
Its nearness to the mountain landscape offers an especial beauty and topography, determined by various drops, forcing the player to make varied shots and from different perspectives.
As Par 72, the Córdoba Golf is the venue of the most important tournament of the country interior for professional as well as amateur players.
The course is characterized by the presence of natural obstacles, such as a stunning grove and a pool, located precisely in the hole 18. Among the greens (USGA norm), the “agrostis” was implemented, a grass used in the best courses of the world, and the fairways have Bermuda grass.
The place offers, in all the seasons of the year, a charming landscape that can be appreciated from the terrace of the club.

At just 5 minutes from the city center, Córdoba offers a course inside the country club of a centenary institution, the Jockey Club.
The course is very young but it has its difficulties. It was built some years ago, with an American style with interesting challenges for the player.
It has even drops, turning it into a flat course. It is par 72 and offers artificial obstacles, such as bunkers, cross-bunkers and some important pools.
As it incorporated golf to its multiple sport and cultural activities, the Jockey Club became stronger with a course in excellent conditions and with an easy access. An added value: the surrounding landscape of the course is very cozy.

La Cumbre Golf Club

This course, built 75 years ago, has many drops due to its mountain characteristics. The city of La Cumbre and its golf course are located in the heart of the Punilla valley, where the mountains are the exclusive protagonists of the landscape.
In the center of this picturesque city, at 62 miles from Cordoba city, there is a golf course of English style, surrounded by an important coppice. The green hills of the golf course make this tourist destination even more beautiful, chosen by its refinements and good taste.
Par 70, the course includes numerous dog-legs and it has Bermuda grass in the fairways and Tifway grass in the greens, making them fast with an excellent quality.
At the same time, the typical grass of the area form kinds of islands, challenging the strategies of each player.
It does not present pools but it does present many artificial obstacles and a particular design, making it a unique course for the practice of this sport.

Placed in a property full of history, it is the youngest court of the province.
Located at 19 miles from Cordoba city, near the city of Alta Gracias, this 18-hole court, par 72, is characterized by the diverse brook crossings in holes 2, 3, 6, 7, 8 and 8, in the first nine and 10, 11, 12 in the second nine; a quality of a course that preserves its natural environment. Besides, it presents four tees by hole, in some five, giving an important advantage to high handicap players and ladies.
The beauty of the place and the kindness of the weather turn the game into a true pleasure.
This property belonged to the Viceroy Santiago Liniers and then to the writer Enrique Larreta. In 1999 the landowners decided to complete the tourist offer (the place is an inn and it is ideal for adventure tourism) with a golf course worth visiting.

Ascochinga Golf Club

The aged grove and the persistent ups and downs of the ground, typical of the Ascochinga area, give distinct characteristics to this course, par 72, located at 37 miles of Cordoba city.
From its 18 holes, nine belong to the first design of English style. The other nine were built seven years ago, turning them in a “modern partial”, integrated to the traditional design.
This particular mixture is associated to the rich history of this course, which changed hands over the years. Ascochinga is a cultural place, with noble anecdotes and traditions.
In the course ground, the Bermuda grass in the fairways is combined with the tifway one in the greens. A distinctive quality of these last ones is the level of difficulty it present, due to the slopes and the location of the obstacles. Those obstacles, by its natural beauty, also become a pleasure for the view, turning the game into a gratifying experience. Ascochinga, besides its historical richness, offers a charming green environment, ideal for life outdoors and contemplation.

North

Northwest
Area of marked geographical contrasts, from Salinas Grandes and the plains to the Sierra y Pampa de Pocho, with its volcanoes and tunnels.

Calamuchita
The Calamuchita Valley is located between Sierras Chicas and Sierras Comechingones, with the stunning Champaqui Mount as the highest peak (2994 masl).

The forestation of important sectors of the area has imparted a unique image to the Province, reinforcing the fact that it was a colonized area by Central European immigrants, who came with their cultural and gastronomic traditions, building up the characteristic features of Calamuchita.

Fishing and other water sports can be practiced in its seven dams.

Traslasierra
Located between Pampa de Achala and Sierra de Comechingones (with Mount Champaquí, highest peak, 2,994 m) to the east and the western plains, it occupies the lower part of the territory of the region. The Sierras Grandes, Pampa de Achala and National Park Condorito contribute the experience of nature in its best condition, with a big attractive for Ecotourism, trekking and mountain climbing. The area is crossed by endless watercourses that run down from the mountain range forming rivers Mina Clavero, Rugapampa, Panaholma and Nono, which then constitute river Los Sauces. Its waters give birth to the reservoir La Viña, notable by its dam (built up between 1939 and 1944), being the highest of the country (102 m). In this water mirror you can practice fishing and other water sports.

The cities of the area count with an important infrastructure and services to offer the best stay to the tourist.

Paravachasca
Between Sierras Grandes and Sierras Chicas there is Paravachasca valley, crossed by river Anizacate. The stunning Quebrada del Condorito is a deep rift in the eastern edge of Pampa de Achala and the heart of a National Park.

Punilla
Sierras to the east: as Sierras Chicas, where Mount Uritorco is (1979 masl) and Mount Pan de Azúcar (1250masl); Sierras to the west: Sierras Grandes, with the massif Gigantes is (2374 masl) and the San Luis and Olaen pampas. This is the setting of Punilla Valley.

There are attractions of great interest: “Los Terrones”, which is a formation of red sandstones; “La Quebrada y el Mirador Cuchi Corral”, a privileged place for hang gliding; “La Quebrada de Vaquerias”, which is a nature reserve in Hermoso Valley.

South Sierras
This area breathes history, and the landscape invites to adventure. The Comechingones sierra, from which many watercourses run down, offers a mixture of mountain and rural landscapes.

From La Cruz, province route Nº 23 takes you to Rio de los Sauces town. This town offers the charm of its river with its profuse grove ideal for going camping.

Alpa Corral offers a mixture of mountain and river with a singular charm. Las Barrancas river and its tributaries are ideal to go camping and enjoy the show of nature. It also offers the possibility of practicing sport fishing.
